"We have stayed here three times now and will certainly be back. It is ideal for travelling with our dog; the staff fuss him, he gets to be with us in the dog-friendly mini dining-room and got his own sausage at breakfast. We found the evening dining room in the basement a bit tricky with a spiral staircase so the staff set a table for us on the ground floor. Huge comfy bed and plenty space in the rooms."

"My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. Indeed, I can think of NOTHING of this one night experience for us that was amiss. We had the whole castle to ourselves. The accommodations were more than comfortable.
