"The night I stayed the petrol station next to hotel was being refurbished. That meant jack hammers and floodlights throughout the night - the poor staff didnt know anything about it until they started and were very apologetic - staff were very good. Professional, welcoming, friendly and helpfull. However - the room I stayed in was a bit grubby (lights on side of bed showed how dusty the room and carpet were). "I stayed on business for 2nights ( we used the conference facilities which are excellent) The main thing of note was the staff who were without exception excellent. From checking to the night porter all went the extra mile. Of particular note was a freshly cooked breakfast. "
