Summer Festival, East Dorset Vermont, Cape Style 4-season Vacation Home,

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (8)
"We had a very pleasant stay here with friends. The property has interesting boulders to play on and woods to explore, and there is a beautiful forest trail just a couple of hundred yards down the road. It's located on a quiet country road about a one-minute drive off Route 7 through the village of East Dorset (don't blink). 1860's converted barn on 13.7 acres with mountain views with swimming pond

"The property was clean but run down compared to online photos. It would be helpful to have supplies such as wastebaskets in bathrooms, hand towels, dish clothes, pot holders, juice glasses/cups, extra towels, and paper towels and/or tissues. "

"We had high hopes for this place, the all of the bedding and the couches had huge stains all over them. The owners market the property as a "high end," but we quickly found out that there were frayed wires in the walls, half the lights didn't have lightbulbs (or just didn't work), and it seemed that the owners got all the furnishings for free on Facebook Marketplace and didn't bother to check if they were clean and/or suitable use for a rental property. The mountain views are beautiful, but...
