"We arrived and the host showed our room ,on the small side , duvet very warm ! Only noise we heard were from other guests rooms , doors banging and noisy fans . Pub very quiet , we were only patrons in the bar ! Friendly owner , breakfast adequate , stayed here as we were exploring other towns nearby , good parking spaces "

"It’s very nice, if you can find it. On Sunday there are no buses into Poundbury so you have to walk through the development. There’s minimal signage and few people around to get directions. The B&B itself is quite nice and my room,#8, was quiet with a view for miles over the countryside. Ideal location to catch the local bus to Lyme Regis."

"A lovely pub and hotel in a very quiet Somerset village. One mile off the A303 and 7 miles to Sherborne. Pub food is fine as is the continental breakfast in the morning. Excellent value for the money which includes a very comfortable room."
