"Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. The rooms are comfortable, clean, hot water and good internet connection. The breakfasts are very nice. I recommend to organize all your tours through the hotel, it's easy and very reasonable prices, and you know it's all taken care of. So a lot less stressful. "Fantastic place to stay. Staff are super friendly and helpful, place is clean, pools great and in a good location with access to the hotels beach area with lounges. Breakfast was also great, very fresh. Only thing was the bed in our room was extremely hard."

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"This was a nice property very close to the beach. The owner was super nice and involved. He showed us around and showed us where to eat in the area. The only downside was the shower which had salty water so when you showered it was like showering with ocean water. "

"Hemos estado muy agusto en el hotel Amani, un lugar tranquilo, acogedor y familiar. Ana nos ha tratado muy bien, los empleados simpáticos, los desayunos excelentes. El lugar está en segunda línea de playa. Hay contraste entre las primeras líneas de playa para turismo y lujo y luego con el resto de las viviendas de la gente que vive allí, pero es un lugar seguro y no hay problemas en la zona. "It is a great simple accommodation. Nothing fancy, but it is quite cosy. The couple running the place is very nice and friendly and can give you some nice tips of what to do in the area. "What a phenomenal experience my family and I had at this resort! All of the staff members made my birthday celebration feel special and it’s one of the most memorable moment that I will always cherish. The villa was clean, organized and spacious enough for 4 to 5 people. Plus, the pool was right outside of our villa whenever we wanted to take a swim. "Very friendly staff. We had the room that had the patio next to the pool. Very convenient for morning and eveving swimming. We went only once to the larger pools on the property. The Jetty and Mango bars were fun and had very good drinks. Food at the Indian restaurant was fantastic and the best meal we had on the property. Sadly we did not get a chance to try the Italian restaurant. We did not know that it needed a reservation like the Indian restaurant. The snack bar by the Mango bar had good snacks, popcorn, peanuts, hotdogs, etc. We will be going back again next year."

"The hotel is well staffed and are always happy to help. The hotel and accommodation is very clean and is constantly kept clean. The pools are warm and relaxing. The Masai on the beach are warm and welcoming but can be a little full on at times, but hotel security are great at moving them along if you want to be left alone. The food and entertainment are fabulous and range if all inclusive drinks are great. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and food. I never go back to the same hotel, but this is one I would consider returning back to. "

"Gorgeous quiet resort owned by Italian couple that has provided a retreat on the Zanzibar coast. Delicious food and great service. I was here with a friend after a business conference in Dar es Salaam and very happy I chose this place of quiet and refreshment. "

"Fun resort with many different daily activities for families. Set on the fantastic east coast of Zanzibar, Diamonds Mapenzi gives you access to a beautiful beach with warm water and sports (additional charge). Food tasted good and staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Would stay here again "
