"I really enjoyed my stay at Saikaew Beach Resort. Having last visited 20 years ago I found things had completely changed and the resort is now a much more modern hotel. Staff were very friendly and the hotel is perfectly located on the island to have access to everything on offer. Would definitely recommend and return."

"Overall a decent hotel and I enjoyed my stay. It has great exercise facilities (as per the Sports Hotel name) and the location is good if you want quiet time away from Walking Street. The hotel itself is a bit tired and most of the staff (outside of reception) spoke minimal English. The Muay Thai/MMA facilities were also great however I found the sessions underwhelming. Aside from 20 mins with a trainer, you're on your own for the remaining 1hr 40 mins. No one that lead a warm up, stretches...

A special thanks to the front staff for recommending the Indian restaurant! However, the food at the poolside restaurant was a bit disappointing and could use some improvement. "The staff was excellent and the property was very clean. The hotel location was perfect for me. What prevented a 5 star rating from me was that the internet went down in my room and throughout other locations in the hotel 2 days in row for long periods of time, which caused a major inconvenience for me. Besides that the hotel was great and I will be back again."
