"A beautiful, quiet, environmentally respectful little haven, with superb views and lots of native wildlife. Don't expect mod-cons, but go prepared to enjoy off-grid living, in a comfortable little cabin with everything you need (kitchen, wood fire, comfy bed, spacious deck for eagle, earth and star watching). Although the checkin is contactless, the owner is in contact via email with warm, personal messages, is responsive and helpful if required. Thanks so much Peter! We loved it."

"This little cabin has been created with an eye for detail and comfort in mind. Seriously just after I had smelled all the lovely candles I was mid sentence “Where is the….love lighter?” Viola, there it was. Comfy bed. Plush carpet and the washing machine was brilliant. Thanks Claire and Shirlene. I’m so happy to recommend this location to people who appreciate the finer things needing a break from the hustle and bustle of every day life."

"Helpful staff. Perfect room for 2 travellers. Stayed overnight after visiting Bicheno, close to local tavern just down the road had great food. Beautiful view to wake up to and watch the sunrise from the balcony. Would definitely stay again if ever travelling this way again."

"Perfect place to stay in Port Arthur. The Peninsula cabins were clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable too. There’s a short walk to a private beach which was just divine. The local wildlife fly in for a feed twice daily (get your seed at front reception) and are quite polite 😂 we would definitely stay there again. "

"Location was on point. Good distance to amenities and the blowhole was a plus 😌 Amazing views which made for great photo opps. Winter electric blankets were a welcome feature for the cold nights during winter. Beds were super comfy 💖 Communication was limited but instructions very clear and simple to follow. On the other hand, a couple of points stopped us from a 5/5 experience= *our apartment oven wasn't in working condition and needs to be looked at. Made a loud noise when the fan was going...
