"Just the most inexpensive place to stay for a family funeral. In room coffee was ok. Was too late (8:30) for whatever breakfast they had, if they did. Walls were paper thin, listened to my neighbor hack and couch all night. Car doors slamming all night. Heat worked fine. Could have used an extra blanket as mine was paper thin. King room and lots of flat pillows. 2 nice desks but you have to move them to get to power plugs for your devices. Internet was basically unusable, nowhere near todays...

"The entryway to the hotel looked dated and not clean. It had been painted over and over and still looked dirty. However, inside, the place looked great. Beautiful pool, large, clean room, and nice clean hallway carpet. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. "

"I can't comment because we didn't stay there. Expedia was supposed to book us at a hotel in Emporia, KANSAS, NOT the Knight's Inn in Emporia, VIRGINIA. The hotel in Kansas that Expedia booked us at (and sent us a confirmation for at the Kansas location) had gone out of business, thereby necessitating us to book a hotel on our own in Emporia, Kansas. "Property is right next to a Walmart and numerous restaurants and other businesses. Lots of extra traffic, including delivery truck/semi. Restaurants make it easy to find something you like close by, so that is convenient. "
