"This is a cute and quaint historical stop with loads of character and time honored style. All of the historical details of the hotel remain intact and it feels like you are taking a step back in time. "What an awesome place! I’m not sure if I’ll ever be back, but maybe I’ve found an excuse to visit now. Frank, the owner, text me first thing in the morning on the day of my arrival to ask if I needed anything. He greeted me upon arrival, showed me to my room and took the time to strike up conversation and talk to me about the things he thought I’d find interesting after he learned a little about my interests. "We were able to book online and show up 10 minutes later to check in around 1pm - before regular check-in time. We were taking refuge from the ice/snow storm and they had a room for us. I understand this experience is based on room availability but it was much appreciated! The staff was very helpful in helping us get anything we needed. The hotel was right next to the historic area of town but due to the weather we unfortunately couldn't take advantage."
