The Space:
Under the Vines in Earnscleugh is located in a rural town just a 2 hr drive away from Catlins, nearby Clyde Dam, Dunstan House Clyde, Olivers Restaurant, and Flat Top Hill Conservation Area, to name a few attractions. A comfortable 139 square-feet stay and one of the best tiny house rentals in the area with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use. It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and are welcome to walk amongst the vines. However, please stay clear of sheds and other vineyard operations.
Guests are welcome to purchase honey and wine made on the farm; paid in cash. If you are interested, please make prior arrangements with the land host.

By public transport: There are great cycling trails at the boundary of the property.
Other Things to Note:
- Pets are not allowed
- No smoking allowed inside the cabin
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Wifi is not available but there is cellular coverage
- Frost fighting wind turbines are noisy in Spring and late-April; bring earplugs
- Please note that there are trip hazards all over the farm; exercise caution when walking
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Guest Advisory
- We advise guests not to swim in the pond, but if you must, please do so at your own risk. Please be aware that we swim in the irrigation pond regularly.
- We would like to remind guests that our tiny house follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank.
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- The property is a working vineyard. At times there will be workers and machinery on site. Please stay clear of their operations.
- Please respect our neighbour's privacy and stay on the cabin side of the vineyard otherwise, you are likely to walk onto our neighbour's property.
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
