"The property is CLEAN and QUIET. The staff is REMARKABLE and ready to serve. The COST is reasonable. "I enjoyed my stay at the resort. It was a lovely adult only resort and all inclusive. The meals were good. The room was beautiful and I had a great view of "Miami beach" The only negative i would say is -I wish they put the beach chairs on the beach at the time they say they would. Despite that I still made the best of my stay and really enjoyed the property. I hope to come back again. "

"The hotel is situated on a public road, providing convenient access to public transportation, including buses to and from Bridgetown and Oistins. However, heavy traffic persists throughout the day and late into the night, particularly on weekends. Access to Maxwell Beach is about 500 mts (546.8 yards). "Wow!! We had an amazing week at The Soco. The hospitality, the staff, the food was amazing. Each room had a sea view and is equipped for all you need on an AI stay. The location was ideal for us, the hotel is at the of the boardwalk so you could chose to either drink and eat at the hotel or visit one of the bars and restaurants along the front. Which means you can have a quiet or louder night depending on your mood. The food at the hotel was excellent so we had no issues eating most meals at the hotel. The service was top level and the staff (and general manger) went above and beyond to make our stay the best experience. Some people have mentioned the road noise in the reviews- yes you can hear the road as the hotel is on the main coast road, but this never bothered us and we slept so well! The hotel is boutique with only 24rooms (approx) so the staff get to know you and your preferences and the bartenders knew what drinks to make without us asking LOL In summary - my husband and I have a policy to never stay in the same place or hotel twice as we think the world is too small to repeat a visit - but we would stay at The Soco in Barbados again and already thinking about another visit never year- for us that is top marks!!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing with a wide variety for vegetarians. The beach that the hotel is located on is beautiful, the water is so blue and clear. Overall an excellent stay, we would highly recommend Sugar Bay. "

"Very friendly front desk reception and bellmen. We so appreciated the visitor lounge to change to go to beach prior to room being ready. Equally convenient after check out , we used the showers before leaving to airport. A wonderful plus! We fully enjoyed the restaurants on site. Great value and delicious!"
