"Our second visit to Sandy River Lodge was just as wonderful as first stay. We had our whole family of 5 sons with families staying there and in neighborhood. We gathered together every evening for dinner. It was so special having the family all together and cooking in the well appointed kitchen was a breeze. With card tables we could fit everyone. "To celebrate my 2 and Fiftieth birthday, I wanted a long weekend away with my adult children and extended family and it was perfect in every way. The layout of the house is perfect, it was spotless (even under the beds when playing indoor hide and seek), and Vacasa was responsive and helpful with any questions.The beds were all comfortable, the heating system kept us all warm and toasty, the hot tub was clean and the perfect temperature. The downstairs family room was a perfect place to lounge...

"Nice property, but some instructional materials about heating, the stove for people unfamiliar with gas cooking, more specifics about trash and recycling. At 75 I’ve stayed in many rentals and I can’t remember a rental that didn’t provide more information. kitchen is well equipped."

"Had a great time at the cabin and made a great home base for sledding at snow bunny! Clean and well stocked! I was worried about loft for kids but it’s bigger than photos look so we didn’t have any concerns/issues with them sleeping and playing up there. We will be back!"

"It was so cozy and calm. There is no central heat, so it took a day of burning wood to get the house warm. We also couldn’t figure out how to operate the oven the stove part we got, but not the oven. I just love being in the woods and that cozy cabin. It was lovely."

"A group of 7 friends and I stayed at this cabin during our university's spring break to get some fun skiing in at Hood. The cabin itself is very clean and cozy but unique in its log cabin design and layout. It was definitely a little tight with 8 people, but if your all good friends, it's not a problem. The area is beautiful and feels more secluded than it actually is."

"My husband and a couple friends stayed for the weekend. It’s close enough to Mount Hood and yet feels secluded. Right on the river for a perfect view. Plenty of room for a couple families with kids. The mud room was great as it was pouring when we arrived. The covered back deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation. The bathroom floors are heated and the master bath is amazing!Highly recommended!"
