"We loved staying here, it was rustic, simple and relaxing. I loved the rich history and the care and thought Ian put into making the cabin enjoyable. The selection of books, a beautiful wood stove and a little record player added to the old time vibe. Thanks to host Ian for preserving and sharing this gem with us all. "

"The house worked out great for our family to have access to xc skiing on Mt Hood over the MLK weekend. The boys loved the game room ping pong, darts, and foosball. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is set up to cook and bake. The gas grill might need a tuneup or new cylinder as it wasn’t quite as hot as it could have been. Comfortable and clean, everyone had a good time. "

"We spent a long weekend here for my granddaughters birthday. The cabin was clean and we loved the sleeping loft with second bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, hot tub was a great treat, and the wood stove was cozy. Close to ski area, hiking, and restaurants. Overall, we had a great time and the cabin was perfect for us. "

"I took my kids and other family here so we coulf go play in the snow. It was a little bit further than i thought it would be to reach snow but that wasnt a big deal. This cute cabin had almost everything. Board games, washer & dryer, there were even basic food items like hot chocolate and pancake mix. The kids had a great time running around while us ladies enjoyed the facial masks and bath bombs that were there for us to utilize. Great little get away. "

"We loved the cabin. Warm, cozy and had everything we needed. Great space for our family of four with two teens. The game room was fun but a little cold in winter. It would be great in summer! We went snowboarding at timberline and the meadows and it was a quick drive to both! We noticed that other renters “forgot” to pick up the dog poop so we had to watch our step in the yard. Thanks for the wood. "

"This home is nestled into a beautiful wooded area along the Washsougal River. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we could have stayed another week or two. The log cabin is spacious and quaint. It provided everything we needed from a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of towels and chairs for hanging riverside. I enjoyed running along the winding roads that provided gorgeous views. We would love to come back and stay here again. We didn't want to leave!"

"Nice property, but some instructional materials about heating, the stove for people unfamiliar with gas cooking, more specifics about trash and recycling. At 75 I’ve stayed in many rentals and I can’t remember a rental that didn’t provide more information. kitchen is well equipped."

"My 4yo and I stayed in a 1-br over the weekend to visit a friend. The hotel is beautiful, has good security, and extended hours for concierge (who are all helpful and friendly). Our room was fantastic with all dimmable lights, full kitchen, spacious bathroom, and full size laundry machines. The cell reception is terrible but they offer free wifi and that helped a lot.
