"Stayed in a cabin for 5 nights with our 2 children. Cabins were great value for money and had everything we needed including not having to bring our own bedding or towels! Kids loved the loft bedroom. Cabin kitchen basic but more than enough to cook a decent meal with 2 ring hob and oven plus a few saucepans. Cabin bathroom was really clean with warm shower. "Our time on Gistholmen was FANTASTIC! However, it started with the hiccup of the VRBO description being on the wrong island (it is NOT on Ingmarsö Södra, an 8 minute walk from the ferry dock as the description is or at least was, hopefully that gets updated!). It is on Gistholmen that you need to take the Waxholmsbolaget ferry to (no need to book ahead, but depending on the day and season there might only be two potential drop-off and pick-up times).
