What a lovely place!
Our experience was excellent! The place is so beautiful. The breakfast is so good. We participated to two activities yin yoga and sound healing. Thank you Marlin for the lessons. A wonderful instructor who taught interesting things at the same time. We learnt a lot. Here you can completely relax with spa, good food and lovely activities. We were able to take a dog with us too, that was nice also.

No common sense
I made the mistake of only adding one person to my booking (usually I travel alone) arriving at the hotel I was forced to pay 180€ ekstra for an additional person to the room that cost me 250€. If I had booked it right from the beginning I would have payed 270€. I understand that there would be an additional cost, spa and breakfast - but not 50% additional to the hotel last minute price.. But what made it worse, was the receptionist that (in my opinion) rude an totally dismissive.

Hotellet är alldeles för dyrt. För de tre nätter som vi betalade över 10.000 sek för medelmåttig rum, medelmåttig frukost och tillgång till Spa, förväntar man sig mycket mer. Spa är ok men ingen myskänsla, inget extra som man inte fått i billigare Spa Hotel. Dyra behandlingar på 50 min förkortas till 45 min??? Vi kommer inte komma tillbaks inte i af för de pengarna.

Det var bättre förr…
Tappat mycket de senaste åren. Detta var en lugn oas tidigare med krav på att använda ställets badkläder och badrock för att skapa en känsla av lugn. Det har tyvärr övergetts. Smutsigt på sina ställen. Hela spa-avdelningen är fylld av använda glas - varför tillåts det i poolerna, och varför städas de inte undan? Kladdigt på golvet i rummet. Dammigt i korridorerna. Fotpallarna i avslappningsrummet har nog inte torkats av på något år. Huvudrätten (långbakad fläsksida med jordärtskockspuré - och ris!) var bland det sämsta jag ätit på restaurang. På frukosten saknades det mesta i långa perioder: äggröra, glas, tallrikar, knivar, mango, japansk omelett mm. Service överlag mycket bra, även om det är lite all-inclusive-känsla över stressen i restaurangen.

Byggarbetsplats och konferens = ingen stillhet!!
Väldigt trist att inte fått info om, eller i vart fall reducerat pris för, att både ett STORT konferenssällskap (inte så inställda på ett dygns avkoppling) tillsammans med att viss del utomhus var byggarbetsplats med VÄLDIGT högljudda maskiner! Att bada i stillhet i utomhuspoolerna till ljudet av en borrmaskin!? Inte kunna välja restaurang pga abonnerad för konferens!? Och då är ändå deras eget tips att vardagsbokning är bäst och ”lugnast”? Hade varit trevligt att få veta i förväg.

Spa: 10/10, känns aldrig överfullt eller klaustrofobiskt trots att vi var där en helg. Omklädningsrummet känns som det lyxigaste sentot man någonsin varit på och gratis klasser var ett kul inslag! Rum 8/10 - inget extraordinärt men, skön säng och trevligt litet badrum. Kunde varit lite renare men kan också vara att rummen har varit i bruk länge och visar spår av användning. 3 / 10 Mat & Dryck. Här finns det verkligen utrymme för förbättring med tanke på priset. Izakayans miljö känns som att två animenördar har gott lös inne i källaren inne på kyrkans föreningslokal. Vi letar oss till plats nummer två. Mycket trevligare miljö med fin utsikt. Wow - det här kan bli något. När menyn kommer blir det dock en besvikelse. Här känns det som att man fokuserar mer på paketlösningar, få ner råvarukostnader och turistfällsmat snarare än att hålla kvalité. Att få en dåligt skuren Maki-rulle som huvudrätt för 305 kr känns lite som ett rån. Tråkigt eftersom det här hade varit en drömplats för ett ambitiöst kök att få arbeta med matlagning och gastronomi på hög nivå.
