"Excellent location in Haliburton. Staff was excellent. Rooms require some updating especially the bathroom. Wood for the room was very pricey and not having the dining room for food closed was difficult especially on a weekend of a snowstorm. Otherwise beautiful location and the ice rink, outdoor fire and option to snowshoe was great. "

"The room was dark and dingy and had pluming issues , not only are room but the entire resort to bad because the resort has a nice beech and beautiful view of the lake . I would have to say the rooms are tired and in need of an up date . Hey that's just my opinion but I have to say I've been there 4 times I guess it's the views and the call of the loons that get me every time ."

"While the room was clean, upon arrival our toilet was not flushing. With no phone in the room you need to bring this to attention at the front desk. The issue was fixed after approximately an hour and we were offered complimentary drinks at the bar for the inconvenience. I would have liked to see more fire wood prepared neatly in the room before we arrived as well as kindling and matches. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The spa pool and sauna were excellent.
