The property is hosted by the exceptional Tony, who checked in with us after arrival to make sure we were happy and see if we needed anything, and better yet, was only too happy to oblige and help out where he could when we did ask for a favour. "Lovely stay, very comfortable..Some minor things to improve but all small things such as cleanliness in kitchen drawers, etc... beds etc clean and comfy enough though.Bathroom nice but tlies very slippery and not great for anyone of a certain age or with a slight disability, but our host happily provided a chair for us which was great.Close to everything and we.thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

Host was helpful and accommodating to our requests.Found that the single bed in Bedroom 3 is actually a high bunk bed which meant the person planning to sleep there had to sleep on couch as could not climb the stairs. Also Bedroom 4 is bunk beds - not 2 singles - and only accessed via Bedroom 3 which made it not private. Felt the description should have explained the sleeping...

"Upon arrival there was fresh bread and fruit. Lovely touch unexpected. The unit was beautiful, very clean. Very well equipped with everything you could need. The heating system was awesome, kept the unit at a very cosy temperature. Host Mary is very easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Ballarat"

There is no balcony, the barbeque is unusable due to rust everywhere, the bath is pink and disgusting, the garden has not been maintained, the windows need a clean, the cutlery had to be washed before being used, one of the two frying pans is very badly scratched and can't be used, the path you can see in the photos is half overgrown, and the list goes on.
