"The room was cosy and sufficient for one night. It was tidy, but I could see it was wasn't wiped down properly after the previous guests, as I could still spot evidence of their stay here and there. Thankfully not enough to yuck me out. If you are a light sleeper, make sure you take some ear plugs, as you can hear almost everything your neighbours are doing and saying, in particular if you are in a downstairs room. "The people are super friendly and made our stay so perfect! The room was conveniently located to everything in the village. We had all that we needed. Had we traveled during a warmer season, we would have made use of our balcony more! We'll be back soon!"

"Didn’t tell you you had to make the room up and take down until after you book room. East just a pain to do after a full day of traveling. Our bed didn’t have right size sheets or blankets. So may do with using small sheets and blankets. Food at the pub was some of the best we have had. Very good service and ambiance "

"Completely coloured by the fact that the hotel is being refurbished so there is no reception and 100mm of snow making parking hazardous. otherwise found the lodge open and wow what a room. Pine walling all amenities, loved it. Should come again, May and June."

"Staying at this property feels like stepping back into the 1800s. I've never seen so much wood and the decor is really nice. very very friendly staff and though it is a bit rough to get to it is worth the drive. I would stay here again in an instant. I will make one note that you should expect spotty internet, but everything else was completely excellent and absolutely worth a second trip!"
