You can admire local landmarks like historic Broughty Castle or the beautiful Tentsmuir forest across in Fife. It is just a 5-minute walk to ‘The Ferry centre’. This seaside suburb four miles east of Dundee. With an eclectic mix of cafes, many pubs, restaurants, and shops nearby, as well as the award-winning long golden sandy beach and picturesque harbour, make sure to look out for the Dolphins. There is a thriving water sports scene.

The space
This light and airy two-bedroom cottage has a bright open lounge with glass patio doors. These lead out onto a modern balcony with the most wonderful views. Both bedrooms have double beds and large, mirrored wardrobes. There’s a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom with shower cubicle.
Outside there is a private parking space and a lovely garden with a summerhouse and outdoor seating and dining available on a raised deck. Free parking is also available in the street on a first come, first serve basis.

LOCATION
The cottage is in the famous and loved coastal suburb of Broughty Ferry, (voted 2021 by the Times newspaper as one of the best places to live) and is close to the city of Dundee with its famous V&A and many other tourist attractions. In the village there is a good selection of pubs, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The thriving main streets also boasts lots of small independent stores, galleries, etc.
Down near the seashore, the striking Broughty Castle is well worth a visit. Dating back to 1490 when it was built to protect the Tay estuary, it now houses a wonderful quaint museum which explains the history of this pretty fishing village.
The famous golf courses at Carnoustie and St Andrews are close by and there are other excellent courses locally for avid golfers to test their links game. The beautiful sandy beach nearby provides a haven for wildlife and a visit to Broughty ferry rock gardens is a must. Families love the excellent children’s playpark at Castle Green and there are lots of local coastal cycle paths too. With many e-bike sharing stations.
Broughty Ferry train station is just minutes away and, being just a few miles from the city of Dundee, there are excellent road, rail and air links nearby, making for straightforward travel.
