"Really liked the Dakota. Felt safe as a single traveller. Room was very clean and although small (single), was perfectly adequate with tea and coffee making facilities. Accommodation is self check in so I didn't see any staff during my stay, but communication was good pre arrival. Shower wasn't warm enough to shower under unfortunately, but I would still book again as it was good value. There is a Chinese takeaway next door (cash only) and the Dakota provided plates and cutlery in reception...

"I loved my stay for 3 nights! Sian is a perfect host, and my single room upstairs overlooking the back garden was very quiet, had a very comfortable bed, a chair, and plenty of spaces, surfaces, and hooks to put things in or on. I could sit in the breakfast room any time of the day if I wanted a table space for working on a laptop, and I was welcome to store items in the fridge. Delicious cooked breakfast of any version of a Traditional English you prefer, plus cereal, yoghurt, fruit, juices....
