"Stopping off in Devon for a few days break, we were very pleased with our stay at The Globe. While the property is very far from being an "all singing all dancing" modern hotel (no elevator for example); it has buckets of charm and is situated in an excellent location. Our room was certainly spacious and very clean and well appointed and everything worked perfectly. Slighty tired hotel, but excellent service

"Really great staff. Never had poor service at a holiday inn. Kudos to a chirpy Ben on the morning shift. This is slightly dated hotel and the bathroom set up is unfriendly with a step into the bathroom and a huge step into the shower. The bed felt like a tiny double. It is conveniently located which is why it is so popular. Breakfast was a highlight, well laid out, plenty of space and fresh food "
