"We were very impressed with our room which was very clean and looked freshly reburbished. The hotel itself was also clean and fresh with very helpful and friendly staff. A stones throw from restaurants and the theatre so convenient location. Would recommend to others. "

"The hotel was on the University of Nottingham campus. It was a mile from Beeston where my daughter is living. The rooms were excellent, the food was great and the price made it an extremely good value. I would stay here again."

"Located in the city centre so walking distance to a lot and a tram stop just by the hotel too. Comfortable small room, decent shower, clean. Felt safe, as I on my own. Only negative I found it cold at night. "

"Friendly and welcoming staff. The air in the room was very poor. CO2 levels on 1800-2200 if we didn't open the window. The ventilation just circulated the air. Had to sleep with the window open to get the co2 down and made the room cold and damp due to the February weather. "

"The hotel staff were very helpful getting the sofa bed made up. Great that there is a gym and a swimming pool. The steam room next to the pool was perfect for after a long day. The swimming pool itself was too warm in my opinion so we didn't use it. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. The toilet and bathroom were split so there was no sink in the toilet which was weird. You have to walk to the bathroom to wash your hands. Breakfast had lots of vegan options, although...

"Breakfast was lovely and tasty. Pillows in room were terrible and flat. Not enough milk in room , carpet in room heavily stained but the hardest thing espically if not good at walking far is there is no lift and alot of stairs. The gardens are beautiful and spring bulbs just appearing. Nice stay overall "

"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. "On booking I received an email advising me that if we booked the Q park in Castle street quoting our booking number, we woukd get half price parking. We did this and it saved us a lot of money. Nice friendly receptionist Clean comfortable room Good service Convenient location "

"A beautiful, elegant hotel in a quiet location. The room was spacious, clean with tv, tea facilities, hairdryer & bath/ shower. Although dinner lacked any real choice as a vegan ( the only option was winter salad minus the honey & mustard vinaigrette) and chunky chips) breakfast was out of this world and the staff were far more accommodating. We accessed the spa facilities with a separate booking, which were amazing. A lovely little relaxing break. "
