Enjoyed our stay but a few things need improving
The cottage is located just over a mile from the A811 to Drymen. Be careful at the junction a road mirror for exiting would be useful, and is about 2 miles from Drymen which is a lovely village with good places to eat and drink. During July and August a pipe band plays on the village green on a Thursday evening.
The cottage is surrounded by fields containing free range chickens and pigs and there was a small hen house in the cottage garden. Sadly during our visit the hens were on go slow and we only got four eggs.
The cottage was clean and tidy but would benefit from some upgrading to the bathroom facilities. Likewise in our opinion the twin beds were very uncomfortable and should be replaced and the downstairs double bed according to other guests was very small.
These little niggles did not hinder our stay, but it’s a pity because with some TLC it could be wonderful.
