"We had a lovely week. The waterfall behind the house was a short and pleasant walk away. The beach was a 2 minute walk and very quiet. It was lovely. This is a great house for a family getaway. "

We felt we were in a 5* hotel and a little bit nervous of living up to the exacting standards...every surface was covered, even the sofa. Notices everywhere! Despite that we loved every minute. Only things missing..a dish...

Not if you count 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, a half roll of paper towels, no replacement garbage bags and no laundry detergent for a week's stay as ample. "Nice house looking out onto beautiful little beach. A lot of sheep which meant little lambs everywhere this time of year. Friendly neighbours! Tip: go to Handa (approx. 45 min. drive) for a very special hike on this remote bird island."

"The property was outstanding, everything we needed plus more. The only fault was 1 of the bed made a noise every time the person sleeping in it moved."

"We had a wonderful stay at Drumbeg Hotel. The owners are so nice and welcomed us when we arrived. We had a home cooked Scottish meal for dinner which was some of the best foods we've had anywhere in Scotland. Breakfast was also delicious with lots of options. The hotel has a great lounge and bar. We all slept very well in the comfortable beds. It was a charming and peaceful area. The road there is winding and narrow but it's part of the adventure and makes the stay feel even more memorable, as if you are going to a place frozen in time. We loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat."
