The 'Wild Flower' is a completely redecorated and updated cozy cottage overlooking Seneca Lake- and exceptionally clean. While not water front, it is about 100yds from the water on a very scenic acre with excellent lake views. Public lake access is within walking distance. Includes year around sun porch - great when it rains or gets cold. Private hot tub.Limo service to wineries, in-cottage massages, bike and boat rentals available. The Outlet hiking/biking trail is walking distance. Located on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail - we consistently receive 5-star reviews and are rated highest for accommodations in this area - recipient of Award for Excellence every year.

Nice, quiet home
The house was very clean and welcoming. Perfect for a quick weekend get away. We loved the hot tub and the short walk down the road to the water. A really nice diner right up the road for breakfast and close to all the wineries. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Getaway
Wild Flower Cottage was the perfect place for a winter weekend getaway. The hot tub was great despite the cold, and we were warm and cozy indoors when it snowed! The owners were kind and very responsive which was very helpful upon arrival/departrure. And having our pup with us was an added treat! If you are looking for a quaint and cozy cottage this is the perfect place!

Great weekend even if Curveball was cancelled!
Perfect little getaway. Private and clean, close to the lake. I've stayed in this place 2x before and other properties which Pat and Brenda own, they are the best! If you are looking for a nice weekend at seneca lake, look up the Savannah House and see what they have to offer!

Spring Weekend Getaway
My husband and I treated our daughter and her fiance to a weekend on Seneca lake. We found Brenda and Pat to be very accommodating and the rooms were extremely nice, very clean and had a very nice lake view, plus centrally located along Seneca Lake. We will be visiting them again in May, and are truly looking forward to it.

Great place to spend a week
Just spent a terrific week here with my family. A great place if you have a small child, within walking distance of a playground (and ice cream), and a short drive from a number of attractions in the finger lakes. My only complaint would be I wish the owners had provided a little more instruction about the place (maybe a binder in the property) but it was a very small worry. A great way to spend a vacation!

Clean, quiet, and close to everything.
The cabin is well kept and clean. A full kitchen, dishes and flatware, Wi-Fi, Jacuzzi, and a selection of good books make the cabin a comfortable place to spend time. For days when you want to get out, it is close to the Keuka trail, Kashong reserve, Seneca Lake, several wineries, and restaurants, Geneva and Penn Yan. Being able to have our dogs with us was also wonderful.

Location was as described, close to the lake but not lake access. Check-in and out were smooth, host was responsive to any questions. We used this space minimally while enjoying the wine trails which are easily accessible. Could use a deep clean, but no issues and the hot tub was lovely.

This was a perfect little place to getaway and be able to bring our two dogs with us. Just minutes away from quaint villages to visit, shop and grab a bite to eat. Very relaxing to escape real day to day responsibility. End with a great hot tub dip, would do again. Deb

As described
The cottage/trailer was as described. A little dated as the pictures show but the cheapest option I could find in the area with a hot tub. It suited what we wanted just fine. Nothing fancy but the owners are accommodating and the in house massages were amazing. It was perfect for a weekend get away to relax and close to many attractions. Thanks so much for the opportunity and place to stay.

To begin, you can call it a cottage, but it sure looked and felt like a trailer. Very clean and with all the necessities. We had a nice stay, but I feel it is overpriced. Next time I would look into other properties owned by this host

Great location
Location is great for getting around to all of the places my husband and I love. Not sure we’d stay here again though, it was a cute little trailer, but we’re tall. H’s 6’4” and was hitting his head on the ceiling in the shower and on entryways. Mattresses could use replacing too- but the couch was super comfortable, water pressure amazing, and views from the end of the street after a short stroll to the bench are fabulous. Overall we’re glad we stayed as a last minute booking for Labor Day weekend close to several of our favorite places.

Very clean
Great experience. Place was older but well kept & cleaned well. Hot tub was new & big. No dishwasher as listed though & not much to eat as far as dinners go so I cooked most our meals there then had to hand wash everything. That was thr only drawback. Otherwise easy to find, easy to navigate area.

We were told the wrong address, so after getting settled , another couple showed up and after several attempts to contact owners, we finally were told we were given the wrong address! It was very clean but it's a trailer or mobile home. It seemed like a lot of the rentals in that area are lacking renovation and charm!

They sent an email saying to bring our trash bags and coffee filters that no paper goods would be provided. It was was a trailer which you could see in the picture but all the extra hoops were frustrating.

Nice spot on Seneca Lake
We chose this property for the location and the hot tub! Keuka Lake Outlet Trail is a 2 min. bike ride away. We walked to the end of our road to Seneca Lake. Wineries are everywhere. Watkins Glen was a short drive. The cottage was ok, a little crooked. Management was easy to contact, although we never needed to. The only thing we let them know about was the bath tub backing up immediately. I assume they'll have this snaked before the next guest.

STAY AWAY
Property is not even close to what it is described as. The owner per the neighbors will try and scam you for every Deposit dollar, in which he did to me. The place stinks and is a falling apart trailer. Not a Lake House. You can’t even use the Lake at this location because it is Private Property. Please do yourself a favor and skip this property. I have stayed at over 200 properties and this is the first negative review I have ever left!!!

Not what we had hoped for
While the online description was technically accurate, it felt like the property was not what we expected. It was clean and the owner did answer back when we had questions it didn't feel like the warm contact we've had with other owners. The picture of the property must have been taken either before the foliage leafed out or a while ago before the bushes grew in because our view was a fraction of what was pictured. We could walk down the 100 yards to the lake but there was no swimming and on either side of the overlook were personal properties, one labeled private property keep out. So we couldn't really enjoy the lake itself except for sitting on a bench with other people driving down to do the same. While the description did not advertise a dishwasher, if you read through all the instructions it does mention to put all dishes in the dishwasher when leaving so I can see how some might expect that amenity. The location was good, fairly close to lots of things so if you are looking for a place to crash and not spend much time it could be fine. The AC situation is two room units on either end of the trailer so it was fine until the second bed room wanted to sleep with the door closed and it was extremely hot and stuffy. Luckily we found a fan and that helped on subsequent nights. After a day trip we came home to find a tag on the door reporting an exterminator had treated the property for rodents and had our dog been with us that could have been a big issue if she got into the newly baited traps listed on the door tag. All in all, pretty good location, clean but not what we expected.

Overall decent but not worth the money in my opinion, see description below.
The cottage is a trailer that is behind a very old abandoned home, we knew it was a trailer from the pictures so that is no problem. It was very clean inside and staged very nicely. You can see the lake from the outside of the cottage and partially from the kitchen. The hot tub worked and was a nice addition. Onto why this is a 3 star review. The outdoor area on the other hand has not been kept up, the furniture was cushioned outdoor furniture that was all left bent over with dirt and grime all over it. Normally this would be whatever but for over 300$ a night we should not be cleaning there furniture. The threshold to the door and staircase up are falling apart. The bed in the master was fine but in the spare room the bed had about 8" of clearance around it so no walking space or anywhere to put anything and the bed was an old mattress that would fold in on itself kind of like an old pull out couch. The cottage came with 1 half used roll of toilet paper and non else to be found in the place, luckily I have a roll in my car. Finally there were 5 lights out! The outdoor light, the 2 lights in the porch area and 2 lights in the kitchen. Overall this was not worth the money and I would not recommend this to anyone, you could negate some of the negatives if the place was not so pricey but for the money we spent we think it should have been kept better. Originally I was going to make this a 2 star review however, the problems may not be on the owner and rather the property manager, if they are not changing the lights or toilet paper or letting the owner know the problems than maybe it could be fixed making it a nice stay for another family however we were not pleased.
