"What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"We had a two night stay at the Fountains Guest house. Great location to walk into town and we managed to get a space on the rear car park. Smart entry system worked well so no need for room keys - a bonus . Super comfortable bed with modern bathroom and shower - small bathroom but perfectly adequate. My only criticism was not knowing the wee pub across the road, the Stavely Arms isnrun by the same team, as we would have dinner there had we known.
