"As someone from Springfield, MO, staying a week at the Holiday Inn Express Fort Worth Downtown for the Bassmaster Classic, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! First off, the location is unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to downtown Fort Worth, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, dining, and, of course, getting to all the Bassmaster Classic events. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service, which was a great bonus for getting around when I didn’t feel like walking. The service was top-notch—the staff was welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Whether it was recommendations for local restaurants or making sure my stay was comfortable, they went above and beyond. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a great place to relax after long days at the tournament. The beds were especially comfortable, and the free hot breakfast every morning was a perfect way to start the day. Overall, this hotel was the ideal home base for a week in Fort Worth. If you’re coming for the Bassmaster Classic or any other event, I highly recommend it—great location, excellent service, and everything you need for a fantastic stay!"

"We had a great time. Staff was very friendly. Not to far too walk to Sundance square and very safe. We didn't have car so we Uber most of the time. We would stay here again. "

"Room great, breakfast good and room service ok but did not get order correct and person read it back right just person in kitchen did not pay attention. Overall elect care. Wish the valet parking was included because it was a little expensive for valet and self park for price of room too. But had a great time. Oh the hot tub did not work and pool was cold so would be nice if that was advertised too . "

"My first time in Texas. I loved the history of JFK staying there. It’s a beautiful building within walking distance of several nice restaurants. My only complaint would be parking or the lack of. You have to use valet. "

"It was very clean and the front desk lady that checked us in was so great I wish I could remember her name but she does have short gray hair. Tell her not to change anything she’s great! "

"I love staying in historic hotels and The Ashton did not disappoint. The room was in excellent condition and very comfortable. The staff was fantastic. There were only two things that could use improvement. 1. We had a room facing the street and the noise from passing vehicles in the middle of the night was unbearable. The third party parkng service was spotty. Two day hour vehicle arrived between 10 - 15 minutes of request. Two days it took over 25 minutes. "
