"We loved the home! Very clean, pictures and description is accurate with listing. Plenty of room for us and a great location in downtown St Charles! The only down side was, we are right above a coffee shop/restaurant and you could hear them in the evening talking as we were trying to go to sleep. Other than that, all was great!"

"The location was great, once we parked our car we never had to leave all weekend. Tons of shopping and wonderful restaurants just steps away. This is above a very popular bar, which was fine for us but if you have younger kids you may want something more quiet. There were doritos in the pull out sofa, other than that it was great. "The overall vibe struck me as a college town apartment: the building was fine, but finishes were underwhelming. The unit itself was a little small, but workable. We had a scenario where the heater seemed to be acting up; the room actually got warmer after we shut the heat off. It was a pleasant enough stay, and served the purpose we had come for: visiting our adult children. It was a bit of a walk to get to the historic district."

We spent most of our time out walking around downtown and used the house to hang out in the evening and sleeping. The neighborhood was quiet, other than traffic on the main road out front.
