"We had a great room. Nice and warm. Great bed and pillows.. Buffet breakfast excellent. We went off season and managed to use the pool, which is an unusual design and only 6 people allowed in the pool at same time so not sure how useful in the summer. We were with family - 6 of us, so we had pool to ourselves and the children loved it."

"I had an absolutely excellent stay at the Halvard Hotel in the Isle of Man! The hotel is newly refurbished, blending modern elegance with every comfort you could need. "The Claremont is in a perfect location on the seaside in central Douglas. Stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Staff are friendly and efficient. Dinner as well as breakfast the next morning were wonderful. Room had a tub AND a walk-in shower! "
