The breakfast wasn't great, they ran out of things, the restaurant was closed for the weekend. One staff was lovely, one was ok, a little dismissive. Overall, good if it's just a overnight stop you need by the train. But not really as a holiday stay."

"Found this place absolutely delightful, and wish I had booked 2 days so I could explore what looked like a lovely town.. Room was lovely, clean, comfortable. My only "issues" were 1. The parking is on road parking, which is fine, but you could end up parking quite far down the road like I had to. 2. The stairs. I battle with stairs and there were 4 flights to get up to my room. So, if like me you battle with stairs, this isn't ideal for you. But otherwise, absolutely delightful!"

"A good central location with parking and friendly staff. Two reservations. First the double room was very small indeed, with no a/c and the conversion had left low ceilings and small windows. We were much too hot. Second the breakfast was only adequate. We weren’t late, but there was very little cooked food left, little fruit (which was over ripe) and nobody around to ask for more or to top up the platters.
