"The property is in a community with large lots, manicured, clean and cleared. Walking around on the roads was pleasurable. It was apple season and the "wild" apples were ripe for picking!"

"The motel itself is a bit dated but hey, it’s the mountains. What stood out was the exceptional customer service. Specifically, I found Shannon to be a rare gift to the hospitality field. She went well above and beyond to ensure that my stay was the best it could be. I was delayed in arrival and SHE actually called me to see if everything was alright. She then devised a plan to allow me to check in after normal hours. I’ve had less service at the Four Seasons. As long as Shannon is working there, I’ll be staying there. BTW - I never leave reviews - it takes a lot to earn my time. Thank you Shannon. "

"This motel is a beautiful serene experience. I loved the wood accents in the room, it was clean, felt safe, and the staff was very kind. I loved the room key! If you love retro-throw back original motel-style living, this is the one for you. The location felt woodsy and natural. We plan to return for another adventure soon!"

"My family of 20+/- had a wonderful time here. The space was great and accommodated us all. We didn't get to use the game room in the other house, but it was super spacious and could fit another host of folks (10+ ppl). There were plenty of restrooms/bathrooms, and sleeping rooms. The living area was great to chill and just relax. Lots of sitting areas. The kids and young adults enjoyed the big pool and the hot tub. The surrounding area was great for morning and evening walks. The location was good - close to Pinecrest, other lakes, and Yosemite. Our host was close by and was a great help when needed. We had an amazing time here. Thanks again Yana & Fam. "

"This is probably the 5th time we’ve stayed here for our annual family and friends trip to Pinecrest. Jim Briner is very quick and responsive to questions and issues. We love this property for its size and location right on the river— and it’s great that it’s dog friendly as well!"

"This resort is a very unique property like anything I have seen in this area before. I would call it "a piece of gold nugget in Mother lodge". We have tremendously enjoyed the pool area....sparkling clean, organic shaped beautiful pool setting, surrounded by trees and bleu sky. and lot of comfort. Above all that is a perfect place for a small weddings. Sooo romantic. Do not get mistaken as I did, it is a very large property in hilly forest area so from cottages to pool and other accommodation is a quite a walk :-)We do not typically come the same place two times, but this is one we will make an exception and we are making already plans to come back again. "
