"We came to Mtn Grove for a family funeral. Laurie’s place was perfect. We were able to spend time with our family in this wonderful home. It was perfectly stocked with all our needs met. The Beds were cozy and we felt at home. I highly recommend this home away from home. Yvette S"

"We chose a mild winter vacation this year over the beach. The idea was for our kids parents and grandparents to spend a vacation together with different scenery. Without a doubt the Mendenhall was well worth the trip. The guest book told the history of a home full of memories for its owners. We were happy to make our own holiday memories there this year. Mr. Ben was more than helpful during our stay. From the wildlife to the cozy quiet welcoming feeling, just a really great place to enjoy. "

"While I appreciate the contact from the host both during our stay and beforehand the house was dirty upon arrival and there was a very unpleasant odor. The floors, bathrooms and general wiping of surfaces needed attention. The bedding appeared to be freshly laundered. The host contacted me within the first 24 hours, I did not mention it thinking that at that point what could be done…in addition there are some rotting boards on the deck which could cause injury if someone were to step on that...

"The property is in a remote spot with beautiful scenery. We were only there for one night, so we didn't have a chance to explore. House was very clean, and stocked with everything you'd need to cook. There is a game room with a pool table and plenty of games to keep everyone entertained without WiFi. Highly recommend it!"

"This was our favorite of all our VRBO stays. The cabin was adorable in the woods, and the owner resides in a house nearby. We were able to check ourselves in, and she was ALWAYS available if we needed, even to just ask questions. She left us muffins and a birthday card for my daughter, and was so warm and welcoming. We hated to leave. My family is moving to this area. Knowing there are people there that are so kind is a huge plus. Loved Anne and her place!!. The environment is...
