"This was not what I expected. The listing states “just a few minutes walk “ to restaurants, shops, etc. I’m thinking that walk would have been 20-30 minutes…and getting back would have been all uphill. The property itself was ok. Provided what we needed…but definitely furnished and equipped as cheaply as possible. It could use some new paint on the walls, or some cleaning of walls. Also to get hot water upstairs - there’s a switch on the wall in hallway. Would have been helpful to know that...

The directions state that guests need to replace wood or peat used for the tiny stove in the living room - but there were no instructions on where to obtain the replacement fuel. "Great family stay, a little dated but overall very nice. Rooms were comfortable and apartment was very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some nice trails nearby and stunning views. Close by to Sligo and other areas, plus regular bus if you want to leave the car"
