"Amazing room and hotel. Luxury room with a bathtub in was amazing. Staff friendly and hotel spotless. 5/5 would definitely stay again. One slight criticism but nothing much was the pillows were uncomfortable, could do with firm pillows. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"For a last minute booking it was alright, I thought at first … bates motel, but when I got in the room, I was pleasantly surprised,there was tea/coffee, it was clean and comfortable… the bar manager who runs it was lovely , and the breakfast was alright too, and what’s better in these times of living is everything was reasonably priced… would I stay again … yeah why not "

"The hotel is located just off the A303 which makes it very convenient as a stopover to or from Plymouth ferry. The place is lovely, staff are friendly and very efficient. The food is just fantastic, great menu with some interesting tasty dishes. The only issue we had was with the bed. The mattress was very tired and soft, which wasn’t that comfortable. Saying that we would definitely go back as the rest of the stay was just lovely. "

"The staff were very kind, very sweet. The place is the oldest hotel in the area. I appreciated this. And it was clean. The cleaning lady kept checking on me to see if I needed anything. I stayed for 6 nights during a retreat. The food for breakfast was very good, they were sweet and attentive. The only thing is my room was very loud, as I could hear the bar and restaurant downstairs. So perhaps have a white noise machine and ear plugs. I believe they did provide earplugs and that was...
