"We stayed for one night en route to a week’s holiday in Cornwall. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was a good one. We had reserved a table for our evening meal (along with our dog) and thoroughly enjoyed the food."

"Had a wonderful one night stay with our dog. A lovely place to stay that is independently owned and regained many of its original features. Comfy bed with coffee machine as well as a kettle in the room. Guest lounge if you didn’t want to sit in your room. Breakfast was fabulous and set us up for the day. We will definitely be returning. A fresh breakfast was offered, but I kindly declined as I'm not the biggest breakfast eater. Very clean space and a lovely bathroom also. "I went to book into the hotel and it was closed, dark and empty. I tried to contact them on both numbers provided. Nothing. No answer, no call back. I tried all day and it was so frustrating and worrying as we had no idea where we were going to sleep that night. I left it until 5pm and then found another place to stay.
