"This hotel has been renamed The New Hotel Palace. It was grand, beautiful pool area, ornate lobby and sitting areas albeit somewhat dated. The staff was lovely. It was very quiet, guessing that it was off season. The breakfast was not enticing, a bit disappointing. The same foods were out for 2 mornings so there was nothing that was fresh except maybe the loaf of bread to toast. "

"It's located in high rise type neighbourhood ,found it easily on the GPS ,not a great area,but a good apartment, shower was very small in our room, the rest of the apartment was good,baby sized TV, had trouble locating the manager , nothing much in English , not able to work out which apartment was the manager,, I told them of this problem,when I checked in, was basically told I had not paid enough, with hotel.com reservation,the wifi was not good in our room, we had to sit in the dark stairwell...

I couldn’t find any reviews on the pool before we went so I will state that it was perfect too, great temperature and rarely too busy, during the day we had it to ourselves largely. "First of all the apartment was extraordinary. The place was thoroughly decorated in a wonderful MENA theme in keeping with the Tunisian vibe in the neighborhood. It was a really remarkable place with great amenities including a full kitchen stocked with snacks, coffee, tea, etc and even a washer. The owners were also wonderfully helpful and went above and beyond helping me get my iPad fixed and even taking me to the bus station. I can’t recommend this place enough.
