"Very nice room with a good sized well apointed bathroom approx 20 mins walk from the main town or the nearest beach. The only dissapointing thing was the breakfast. Coffee bar next door with a bakery and local market also very close."

"Beautiful and charming studio right in the center of Split old town. Felt like I was staying in one of the ancient rooms of the palace. Easy check in, lovely balcony and comfortable bed. Highly recommend it. "

"Fantastic apartment just 15 minutes from Diocletian’s Palace. Free parking can be found on the streets to the south if you are lucky. Very clean with everything a couple or solo traveler would need. Highly recommended."

"The property is in a quiet location whilst being near restaurants, shops and Diocletian's Palace. The bathroom is small though. There is also no microwave but there is a washing machine with drying rack. "

"Great experience! Andre, our host, picked us up from the ferry stop and drove us to our place that was very clean, spacious, and updated. The place is a walkable distance near water to down town Hvar. We were very pleased with our experience and would stay there again! "

"It’s an old building but recently refurbished to a very high standard, and kept very clean and tidy by very friendly management."

"It did not look like the pictures. The pictures showed it to be modern, bright and cheerful. It was not. The pots still had grease on them. No coffee pot. No coffee or tea provided or shampoo or shower gel. It was supposed to be near airport. It was not. It was supposed to have free airport shuttle. It did not. The immediate area was full of graffiti. The backyard was unkempt. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. "

"I booked a studio apartment for 2 nights in June and was very impressed - there was plenty of space for 2 people, all the amenities you could possibly want (even a laundry rack, cooking facilities and cutlery) and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The location is beautiful and very well-situated for access to both plenty of beaches and the city of Trogir, without feeling busy or tourist-y. The owners themselves are lovely and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable."

" Very nice property. Well-located and within a few minutes walk from the very lively Trogir old town. We had a larger room on the third (top) floor of the building. Huge balcony with an amazing view. The room is a little dated, but clean and comfortable. We anticipated that there was no elevator. The owner’s son assisted us with our luggage. "Efficient taxi transfer from the airport arranged by Anna our host. We out of season and were kindly upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. Lovely and spacious with a super sea facing terrace. Very clean and modern with all amenities we needed including hair dryer, washing machine etc. A lovely touch was being provided with a plate of ham and cheese to enjoy when we arrived. I happily recommend this place and would love to return one day."

"A very short stay for us from 1030pm to 10am but the apartment was lovely and very central. Goran booked us a transfer which was just as well as it would have been hard to find. Apartment is up 2 flights of steep stairs so be warned if of restricted mobility. Would definitely recommend "

"An excellent hotel on the outskirts of Split. The Amphora’s Garden is an annex to the main Amphora Hotel, but with its own stunning rooftop infinity pool which at times felt exclusive. "You can't find a better location to stay in in Split and the room was lovely. Only slight thing to be aware of is that the reception desk isn't manned past 10PM, so if you arrive later (as we did) make sure you let them know in advance so they can tell you how to get in - it wasn't a problem when we let them know."

Amazing hotel

"Amazing hotel with brilliant facilities. The pool and gym were amazing. The food in the hotel was reasonably priced and beautiful. The hotel staff were really helpful and really friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable. Hotel is right next to a mall with supermarkets and eateries in walking distance. Old town is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel but a nice walk. Recommend getting a taxi to and from the airport as you pass the hotel and have to walk about 25 minutes back on yourself when getting the airport shuttle bus. Bus is 8 euros each taxi is around 25 euros."

"The Cornaro Hotel was simply wonderful! The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive - meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries Or they would prepare a omelette to your liking! The hotel also had a wellness spa where I indulged in a wonderful facial. There is also a gym. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the "Old Split" where there are ancient buildings, shops, a promenade and remnants of Diocletian"s palace. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split."

Great hotel in a great location

"Great location, all the tours I went on were within 5 minutes walk and in the old town. With windows shut I had no issues with sound at night. Friendly staff. The taxi can't drop you off right outside the hotel and is a short walk. There is no lift so you can be climbing a few level of stair. For me this was fine; but for others it maybe something they want to consider."
