"The hotel is older so lots of wear and tear but our room was neat and tidy, bed comfy . Breakfast not carb friendly but adequate. Located close to the highway so the truck traffic was somewhat loud at bedtime."

"Great place to get away and enjoy a beautiful river"

"We loved our stay at Spring Bay. The porch with the river view was our favorite part! Saw bald eagles and deer. The Current River outfitters stop putting you on after Labor Day, so we did a 14 mile float on the Eleven Point River. Hufstedler’s will put you on that river 365 days a year! The Eleven Point is a “protected” river so we had the whole float to ourselves, with an occasional fly fisherman. Saw more bald eagles, belted kingfisher’s and a bobcat! Last, this cabin might be more suited to vehicles with more clearance. We were in our small wagon which made it fine, just took it slow. Other than that, it was a 5 star perfect week, weather included! "
