"Very comfortable and clean. New modern kitchen and bathrooms with an old world, cozy ambiance in the countryside and very private. Close to the grocery store. Hosts were always attentive and we felt very welcome."

"This cottage is a great home away from home. Meticulously kept. The only thing you may need to be prepared for is the train whistle in the middle of the night. Not a big deal, but was alarming for someone that lives in a very quiet mountain area with little to no noise at night. "

"Though out stay was short it was amazing. Home was exactly as described and pictured. Host was so helpful with all questions we had. Not many homes welcome pets. Though we ended up not bringing ours it was so great to have had the option! Thank you so much for all the extras that you had for us as your guests. We definitely will be staying again! "

"My wife and I came into town for a dog show at Purina Farms. This place was great. Quiet and comfortable sleeping with a nice clean kitchen and bathroom, add to that a big enclosed back yard for the dogs to enjoy. We would stay here again."

"We have a dog in end of life so did not want to leave him home for a quick trip to Hidden Valley to ski. We chose this home because it was close to so many things and dog friendly. We were pleasantly surprised that it was so cute, clean, and cozy that we actually felt like it was a vacation. The backyard fence was in great condition and I felt safe letting our pup out not on a leash. I can’t wait to stay here again."

"We came here for the weekend and had an absolute blast. The worst thing about it is that we were here in November and it was too cold to truly enjoy all this place had to offer. There were some doors that were fidirt and one that didn't close all the way, this didn't lock (master bedroom), so we hoped it was a safe place. It felt like it was, but that did concern my wife a little. We loved the eclectic design of the home, and there was plenty of space. It was a good location and we got to enjoy...

"This is a lovely 1920s house. Well taken care of. Very comfortable. I love the old things. It is one mile from Purina farms. We were there for a dog show and stayed a week and had a great time will definitely stay here again if it's available the next time we come to Purina"

"Super cute and spacious home. The favorite spot for our group was definitely the side porch. The area is clean and feels very safe. My only complaint, and I wouldn’t even call it a complaint really, was the cleanliness of the downstairs area was not great. The upper half of the house was fabulous. Decorated nicely and clean. Definitely would stay here again. "

"2 of us stayed there with 3 dogs for almost a week for a dog show. Very cute and comfy with everything you need. Fenced in back yard made life easier since we didn’t have to take dogs out on a leash. Very clean. Would be a very quiet neighborhood if it wasn’t for the trains going by but that didn’t really bother me."

"We're full-time RVers and needed a place to stay while our camper was being repaired. We loved this little house. We were both able to work here remotely while also visiting family and friends in the area. Jenny is a great host and had everything we needed (and more) upon check-in. The sauna was the reason I picked this rental and it did not disappoint. It was so relaxing! We would definitely stay here again."

"We were in town for a friends wedding. This place was only 12 minutes from the venue. We brought my brother and his fiance to watch our kids with us. This place was very nice with plenty of room for all of us. We played outside and had plenty of privacy. It was a 30 minute drive to the St Louis Zoo which we visited. Overall, great place and very friendly seller."

A lovely piece of history-Love it’s a “Holidome”!

"We go every Christmas, and it’s wonderful every time! Our almost 13 year old daughter has a blast. It is an older “Holidome” just like from when I was a kid….. you know it’s an older property, but it’s BEAUTIFULLY maintained. The restaurant is actually a piece of history…. 300 years and counting! It’s a great property, full of fun, memories, and they say that there’s a ghost that calls the place home. Silly pic of hubby below… look at that 300 year old preserved wall! 💕❤️💜 Enjoy! It’s fab!"
