"If you are planning a visit to Petersburg, VA start with where you would like to stay. The Ragland Mansion is a gem of a Bed and Breakfast. The owner Claudia is so sweet and accommodating. The room my wife and I stayed in was well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved the late 1800 appeal. If you are visiting the battlefields this will complement your trip. Enjoy!"

"We LOVED Gracefield Hall for many reasons: 1) the hosts were warm and accommodating and did everything they could to make our visit perfect. "Vaiden Inn is a very comfortable place to stay. The property is beautiful and the hosts are very communicative and gracious. Coming in the fall afforded us some beautiful foliage on our way to Williamsburg. Although the kitchenette is small, it was well appointed. The bedrooms were gorgeous and the beds were so comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"We have 2 dogs and needed a place for one night. The place was super cute. However, the stairs were very steep. This was mentioned in a review,s so I was prepared. But they are VERY steep, and it was difficult for the dogs to get up/down them. The twin bed's mattress very uncomfortable, but the other one was fine"

"Sweet historical home. Very welcoming, had all the VRBO little needs on hand. Coffee, coffee maker, coffe filter, fresh sponge, dishwasher, washer and dryer with laundry soap, body wash. Bathrooms were very clean. Comfortable sleeping areas and living room. Host was very kind and courteous! "

" Very clean cabin. Big problem is that we did not realize, based on Expedia website, that linens and towels were not included. Luckily, there was a Walmart nearby and we were able to purchase the basics. Later, I did see that an email had been sent to us stating linens were not included, but I missed the email. It would have been helpful to have that noted in big print on Expedia when booking the cabin. "
