"The location of this house is great if you want get away from the holiday crowds in Greece. Yet it is only 5 minutes drive to a very pleasant low key sandy beach with two seaside restaurants and a lovely byzantine church on the waterfront. There is a small mini market and restaurant in Skoutari a few ks away but best to get supplies in one of the bigger towns like Gythieo or Sparta. "Through early research queries and then the booking process Mary was very quick to respond and recommended exactly the right house for us (Couples). Her mum, who is a lovely person and lives close by, was there to greet us and help us with any issues. The views are magnificent and sunset in the jacuzzi with a glass ot two is not to be missed. Stoupa is a lovely seaside village with plenty of options for eating and was not over touristy during our stay (early June). Highly recommended."
