"The apartment was an excellent base for our break. Very clean and tidy and serviced each day. The landlady - Sian - was very friendly and welcoming and was easy to contact if we needed to. Only very small issue - which is a hotels.com issue really - is that prior to arrival Sian sends you a welcoming email through Hotels.com which can end up in your Spam box and you will be unaware as to how to get into your room. This was quickly sorted by a quick call to Sian. Overall, lovely apartment in a lovely small Welsh town."

"This wonderful place wraps its arms around you … restful, soothing and at the same time inspiring. It is amazing how Christina and David have extended their love and care for the environment into their care for the people who visit. So many magical surprises … the Welsh Harp recital in the garden, visits into the cottage by robin and pygmy shrew and a course, the garden library. A perfect place to put cares and griefs aside and reconnect nature."

"Lovely welcome from the receptionist. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Room was large and very clean. Tea making facilities in the room and hair dryer. Large bathroom with bath and shower overhead. Only one bath towel, understandable for a single but two would have been better for a couple. Bed very comfortable. Bar and breakfast areas were very clean and well laid out. Did not have an evening meal, but breakfast was excellent. Would dry recommend and visit again."

Ever so slight improvement touches to bring it up to ultimate standard; bigger TV in lounge (could easily accommodate a 50”) and, because of the configuration of the bedroom, the only location for a TV would be in the bed footer (and they are available). If dining at the Twr y Felin maybe a transport service could be offered. It would not need to be permanent but that would make for a first class service."

"We had a lovely weekend at the hotel, the staff were very friendly, the evening meal and breakfast were very good. The village itself is very idyllic with some lovely walks right on the doorstep. The church is well worth a visit. Being able to take our dog Tilly with us and have her so welcomed in the hotel meant so much to us."

"It is a very unique property with nice walking trails and gardens. Overall it wasn’t kept up well and needs a face lift and grounds keeper outside. Rooms were nice with comfortable bed and good shower. Unfortunately it is far from everything and the restaurant and bar were not open Monday night so had to drive back into town. Breakfast was good and breakfast room very nice. No air conditioning but the fan in the room was nice. "
