"It was our 2nd stay at Econo Lodge. It didn't disappoint. It's clean, comfy and safe. The location is close to everything we wanted and the staff are always friendly. It isn't fancy, but weren't looking for luxury."

"First, the room was exceptionally clean, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. My only issues were that the room and areas around the outside of the hotel are in need of some refurbishment. Cabinets, doors, carpet, the parking and breezeway area all show plenty of wear. Also, when we first arrived, the room had a very strong Indian spicy incense smell. It was so strong we bought some Fabreeze to combat it. "It is on the outskirts of town, so it was peaceful and quiet, away from the city lights. The property is well kept and they use every opportunity to tie their amenities with the theme. Be sure to check out the gift shop. Angi and Eric are helpful, friendly and always available. There are many selfie scenarios. My favorite was by the creek. "

"The owner lives next door to the property and was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure my stay was excellent. Everything was comfortable and I highly recommend if you want to go to Maggie Valley!"

"The rooms are very clean, the linens looked new and pretty. The bed was comfortable. Nice rocking chair outside the room. Pretty view of the Lovely small creek behind the hotel. The couple at the check in desk were very nice. My sister and i would stay here again and i would recommend to friends and family."

"This was my 3rd stay with Parkway Inn and each time was a fine stay. This is not a Ritz-Carlton, but it’s certainly not priced as a Ritz would be either. But, if you’re looking for a good, safe stay in the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area, this just could be your place. "What I like: location (near by the lake). What I don't like: NO one at the lobby when we arrived at 11pm, NO one pick up the phone either, NO poster or instruction for self check-in (doubt if any), we end up need to book & stay at another hotel. Note: the lobby's door is not locked, messy inside, and it looks like they are moving or will be filing bankruptcy soon."
