"We stayed Saturday 12th April for just the one night. Ample car parking and a warm welcome at reception. We had room 11 with a balcony it is very basic but clean. A bath with shower overhead plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. A sofa bed and coffee table by the window. No hairdryer available in the room and only one hand towel. "A great one night stay! We didn't venture outside of the hotel much but it was really nice having our own external front door. The room was amazing with a lovely bathroom. One thing to note... No radiator in the bathroom, just a heated towel rail. So the bathroom was cold. But plenty of radiators in the rest of the room. We were also lacking a kettle in the room and found the coffee machine a bit of a faff to use. Oh... And the smallest TV in the world. Made watching 1% Club almost impossible 😂...

"Just perfect, We were not sure when we booked as it was just a place to stay while we visited friends, but if we are in the area we will go back the accommodation was spotlessly clean. "This place is outstanding. It’s a lovely location in a quiet village a few minutes walk away to the shop and pub and within minutes your in the countryside exploring the WWII history on offer. It’s very quiet and safe and free parking right outside the door. The cottage is very nice and is a mixture of modern bits mixed with old but has a very well stocked kitchen, a large comfy living area, a down stairs bathroom and toilet and two upstairs bedrooms. I will definitely be back."
