"Very nice house nestled in the downtown area. Really clean and plenty of room. A couple things to be aware of, there are steps to access the home that are old concrete steps that can be difficult if you're bringing in a heavy suitcase. There's also steps to the upstairs bedroom/bathroom, so keep this in mind. Also, there isn't a working washer/dryer. I used the laundromat that was close by, and it was nice. Otherwise, a nice, quiet stay."

"This super clean, well decorated condo is perfectly located just steps from Galen's famous downtown. I enjoyed the learning about the buildings newspaper history. The trip was a 4 day getaway with my sisters and we had an amazing time. NOTE: There is absolutely nothing consumable supplied in the kitchen with the exception of coffee pods. Was surprised there was no sugar or powdered coffee creamer, also no salt and pepper. These are typically supplied by VRBO properties."

"The apartment was great for a weekend away in Dubuque. The location in the Mill Work District was perfect with different restaurants and bars within walking distance. The check-in process was extremely easy, and the apartment was very clean and stocked with all of the amenities and supplies you need. "I was expecting that the apartment might need some updating, but it needed a lot more than expected. The twin bed was extremely hard and the bathroom tub drain’s stopper wasn’t functioning. The back stairs off Bench Street were rickety. The living space, kitchen table area, tv access, were all very nice. Great space to catch up after the day.sufficient towels also."
