"We absolutely loved our stay in Kissamos. The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to a couple of beaches and our son loved the ice cream shop downstairs. I bought local fruit and vegetables just steps away from the apartment. The host was responsive and helpful with recommendations. The landlady came and cleaned often and even baked us cakes! Overall we loved it here and can’t wait to return."

"Melina and her family are excellent hosts. The building is laid out as a set of self contained apartments with a shared lobby, with their home being off the lobby if you need to contact them. The apartment was kept clean throughout our stay with fresh towels, etc. every 2 days. The selection of cooking equipment was good, so self-catering was a practical option, and Melina provided some olive oil, marmalade and fruit as a gift upon arrival. You will need your own condiments, kitchen roll, etc....

"Absolutely lovely. Panos and Christina are extremely lovely hosts. The rooms & property are very clean. Nothing extravagant but a very lovely little place to lay one’s head after being at the beach a simple walk across the street. "During our week long stay the water stopped running one afternoon/evening and we lost electricity one afternoon/evening. This interrupted our dinner plans for 2 of our 7 evenings. The property is very nice with incredible views of mountains and sea. However the location is difficult to find and there was no organized check in process. Suggest that if this property is subject to random water and electric problems this should be disclosed to potential renters."

"My wife and I stayed for a week in this beautiful, well-appointed apartment in a great location for touring Crete. It feels like a palace with marble floors throughout and doors to the outside in every room. The view of the sea across the road from the apartment is spectacular. "I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant.
