If you are coming by car, we hugely suggest you come up Cadessi 1 and ignore Sat Nav or Google that do not work well in the old city and may lead you up some very narrow and steep roads that are difficult to negotiate. "Staff helpful and welcoming. The hotel is the bottom 2 floors of a high rise building. The rooms are a bit drab, and the lighting poor, but there is a kettle and tea/coffee. It is in the Mardin new town, in the suburbs, so you always have to take a bus or a dolmus to get to where the action is - definitely out on the limb. Breakfast is plentiful. A reasonably priced hotel for families, not for those who may want to enjoy an evening out."

They switched our room for a horrible smelly one, and blamed it on Expedia booking ( don't believe it for a second) and one of the manager was incredibly rude. I lost hours of work and even to co tact the help desk I needed to restart several times, each time with another agent, due to connection, and from scratch. Noise from other rooms and guests with kids in dining room. No one is there to tell them. My friend ran away after 1 night. No housekeeping during stay, only when I insisted once.
