"This was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is stunning. The manager went above & beyond on multiple occasions, personally escorting us to restaurants around the town and even helping us book bus tickets to get back to Tokyo! The rooms are spacious, clean & beautiful. They had great amenities including a Dyson hairdryer & free laundry which was a lifesaver for us! The breakfast was delicious as well. We loved it here and can't wait to come back!"

"There was a small stain on the foot blanket in the room. It was either permanent or not washed because it was there after the room was cleaned and bedding changed. The breakfast was great though! "

"Rooms were good size, Onsen public bath was good, walkable distance from Tottori Station and nearby convenience store. Only bad thing was that it was easy to hear neighbouring rooms use their sinks and showers. "

"It was clean. The staff was very nice, they spoke English. There were several on-site parking spaces, these were all very positive. However, the beds were very hard, just a plat of wood, and a very thin mattress, even my children had a difficult time sleeping on them. I have slept on many beds in Japan, and these were the most uncomfortable that I have slept on in four years. I would definitely recommend bringing your own pad or mattress to this location. "This is such a beautiful location, and the home is well-maintained and decorated with care. When we arrived, four pairs of slippers were waiting for us, just as if we were staying in a traditional ryokan or machiya. We felt welcomed as invited guests. The guide covered most of the operational questions we would have had, and the pictorial on-site book answered most others.
