"The internet did not work. While the property listed that rooms had their own safe the room did not have one. My room was a very long walk away from reception. The mosquito net does not cover the bed. Hot water is not available at all times and only seems to be switched on in the morning. While there is a Visa card machine, I was told it does not work.The room was very clean and the restaurant offers a variety of options. "

"I had a terrible experience at Grand Resort and SPA on 15 December, 2018. We booked a twin room online using hotels.com. When we arrived at the hotel the twin beds have very hard mattress. We asked for soft mattress but they didn't have one. Instead they gave us a room with King size bed. But we needed two beds and asked for an extra bed. "Very friendly and efficient staff. Stunning view overlooking Lake Tana and availability of boat trips. Comfortable and clean accommodation. Only downside was that they visit to the Blue Nile and waterfall wasn't possible due to external influences. "
