"Gorgeous property for sure. I can say though, paying 400$ for two nights and having the handle to the utility closet being broken and not secured is a little frustrating but not so much to the point I wouldn’t stay here again. Things happen so I chalked it up to that, however it’s a wonderful property. A LOT of construction so while that may irritate some people it is definitely a good sign for the future of the resort. "Typical, old park hotel. Somewhat updated, could be cleaner but Nov. is the end of the season and some areas are in need of repair and attention. The bedding was firm and the pillows were terribly hard. The heaters worked and there was plenty of hot water. The location was outstanding as were the views, the large fireplaces were working and it was cozy. The restaurant and bar were dated, but the food was good and the service was great. Live music Thursday - Saturday night."
