The staff, food, facilities and scenery was above and beyond what we had expected. Big shout out for Madelina who really looked after us on our stay, ensuring us we had everything we need and everything ran smoothly. She again went above and beyond and our experience was fantastic. The staff in the restaurant were all fantastic, Anthony, Hassan & Anana really looked after us as well, we didn’t want to leave! We never saw the chef but the cooking was outstanding and we are missing it now when back at home. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Zanzibar. "

"My stay at Kwanza was amazing, stayed here for my honeymoon and my wife really loved the resort. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was a nice added feature. The only thing I could fault this hotel is the drainage system in the shower and sink is a bit slow to go down the drain other than that everything is 5 star. I would definitely stay here again and the staff were all amazing and accommodating. "
